Greg Romp is the owner and home inspector of The Home Inspection Company Inc. There’s more to a home than what meets the eye, because in addition to all of those immediately visible features, there are a multitude of components that have to be in sound condition in order for the home to be acceptably livable. This can quickly become overwhelming for home-buyers who don’t have substantial building experience, and that’s why Greg is dedicated to providing a top-tier home inspection—breaking down the home’s condition into a detailed summary that will be accessible to any and every prospective buyer.
Much Can Be Told From a Home Inspector’s Professional Experience
Greg has now been inspecting homes for over 17 years, but before he transitioned to this line of work, he had previous experience in many key areas of the real estate industry.
Greg has worked as a general contractor, renovator, and restorer for properties that suffered damage due to wind, fire, and water—totalling more than 40 years of hands-on work since first entering the bustling world of home construction.
As a professional home inspector, Greg loves that he gets to meet new people everyday with varying expectations of a particular home, and he goes the extra mile to facilitate smoother negotiations and a more successful outcome to a pending home purchase.
